Asian designer: Attadech Lowapharp
Asiandesigner Attadech Lowapharp is unquestionably one of the rising stars of Thai design. Born in 1971 in Bangkok, he completed his formal education with a Bachelor of Arts from the Rajabaht University.
Unlike many other ceramic Asian designers who choose to work with multi-glazed ceramics, Attadech opted for the more conventional look and feel of porcelain and bone-china. He quotes Albert Einstein to present his philosophy: “everything should be made as simple as possible but not simpler”.
Attadech designs vases and lightings inspired by forms and shapes found in nature; trees, roots, bird nests and raindrops. His creative motto is simplicity, and his creations stand out for their effortless elegance.
Attadech’s trademark roots vases are now in high demand from interior Asian designers and collectors alike. All his creations are increasingly appreciated for their refreshing aestheticism.
